Dog walker, Our story Mylo and Me, Mylo and I

I am one of the guys
that talks
to every dog he meets.

My Ruari Dog walker,

Hello! My name is Martyn Bulloch,

I've been around dogs my whole life, self-trained and cared for them, dogs aren't just dogs to me they're family they're awesome. I have been very fortunate to have had lots of personal experience owning dogs over the years. Growing up with my family dogs Luckie (Lucluck) a mix breed, Ruari (Roorit) & Hamish (Mish-Mash) both Cairn Terriers, I was regularly being asked for advice and assistance in caring for family friends pets and I have lots of experience with caring for dogs. My partner and I have a very sweet and very sociable Cavapoo called Mylo, he is great around other dogs. He absolutely loves to play but knows when they would just prefer to be left alone or to cuddle and snooze!

I left university having studied music, in the years since I've worked in banking, did a year with the Dogs Trust and gained a wealth of experience there. Having the Wanderlust of a 25 year old I went backpacking and turned it into a 2 year adventure and subsequently worked over a decade in the travel industry where I took full advantage of the perks ticking off lots of bucket list items like safari, Gorilla trekking in Uganda, walking the Inca Trek, making the summit of Kilimanjaro & stepping onto Everest Base Camp.

I felt now was the time for a new challenge and to take the step into another thing I'm truly passionate about

spending time caring for dogs was the obvious choice.

Dog Waggly Tail Pack,

Ruari in later life became diabetic, so I learned about managing and administering meds being very careful with feeding volumes and times. We do everything from walking, feeding to administering medications to simple home visits or vet appointments. I have experience with dogs young and old, large and small, those requiring medication, those that need a lot of exercise, or those that just need a quiet walk or a friend to love when you're away.

At the Dogs Trust I worked with abandoned, mistreated and strays, doing home visits, open days and training my special friends. With a lot of training, patience and love, we got to enjoy seeing fantastic dogs getting a second chance at a good life as a wonderful and well loved family pet. I consider animals as individuals, so, for me, caring for an animal is not just helping them with physical needs, but rather treating them like individuals, with care and understanding, I am very patient and don't hurry them, while they're with me, it's their time and they deserve the best. I’ll happily keep you updated with photos of your babies for peace of mind and to show off their cuteness!

Dogs in particular have added so much love and value to my life, I want to add value to dogs lives the way they do to mine, with love and care. I always make sure they feel safe and loved.  Get in touch if you have any questions or would like some more info, look forward to hearing from you!
